Infants

Understanding Infants

We understand that infants learn primarily through their senses, which is why exploration is central to their development. Our infant classrooms are thoughtfully crafted to be safe, engaging spaces filled with sensory-rich toys that encourage sound recognition, tactile discovery, and visual exploration.

We know that saying goodbye for the first time can be emotional. That’s why we partner closely with families to create a smooth and supportive transition from home to child care. Before your child’s first day, we provide guidance on what to expect and develop a personalized transition plan based on your infant’s individual needs—covering everything from nap routines and diapering to the use of formula or breast milk.

A Day in the Life of an Infant

From day one, we honor your baby’s established routines and provide nurturing one-on-one care. While respecting their personal rhythms, we also gently guide infants to feel secure and comfortable within a new group setting—helping them build independence and confidence outside the home.

During this rapid stage of growth, we ensure your infant’s learning journey progresses at their own unique pace. Our program targets developmental milestones such as recognizing sounds, sitting or standing independently, self-feeding, identifying body parts, and building hand-eye coordination.

Our approach is guided by the Emergent Curriculum, with a focus on four key developmental areas:

  • Language
  • Finger Plays & Songs
  • Fine & Gross Motor Skills
  • Sensory & Science Exploration

Every infant’s experience is personalized to match their individual stage of development and daily routine. Activities are introduced one-on-one and evolve as your child grows.

Our loving caregivers encourage exploration through hands-on experiences like finger painting, block play, music, storytelling, and more. These moments support sensory discovery, motor skills, and early cognitive development.

We also introduce baby Sign Language – helping infants communicate needs through simple gestures, supporting early language skills and independence.

Family Communication

We believe strong communication between home and daycare is essential. Parents receive daily reports with updates on naps, feedings, diaper changes, activities, and developmental milestones.

Toddlers

Understanding Toddlers

Toddlers are energetic, curious, and on the move. As they begin to assert their independence, our educators create a nurturing and responsive environment that celebrates each child’s individuality. Our toddler program emphasizes the development of communication and social skills, helping children build strong relationships and emotional resilience during this critical stage of growth.

We understand that toddlers thrive in smaller group settings. This structure minimizes distractions, encourages deeper connections with educators and peers, and allows for more personalized attention. In these smaller groups, educators can better respond to each child’s cues, interests, and needs, creating an environment where toddlers feel seen, heard, and supported.

A Day in the Life of a Toddler

Each day begins with a warm greeting from our caring educators and fellow classmates, helping your toddler feel welcomed and secure.

Throughout the day, toddlers engage in a wide variety of activities that foster key developmental milestones, including:

  • Language acquisition
  • Social interaction
  • Self-help skills
  • Fine motor and hand-eye coordination

Language development is woven into every part of the day through rich vocabulary, environmental labeling, and repetition of emerging words—supporting literacy and confident self-expression.

We also integrate our signature programming to further enrich your child’s experience:

  • Sign Language – Encourages independence and self-expression by helping children communicate their needs non-verbally.

  • Exercise– Support physical development, muscle strength, and coordination through playful movement.

  • Nutrition Education – Instills healthy eating habits through fun, age-appropriate lessons and experiences.

After a nourishing lunch, toddlers enjoy a restful nap to recharge for an afternoon of continued learning, hands-on activities, and outdoor play.

Nutrition

With all this activity, toddlers work up an appetite! empowering children to serve themselves, practice fine motor skills, and develop independence in making healthy food choices.

Each week’s menu is globally inspired and free from additives and preservatives.

Family Communication

Strong connections between home and daycare are essential. Our educators prioritize building meaningful relationships with both children and their families to ensure a consistent, supportive experience.

Each day, you’ll receive a report, which includes updates on:

  • Nap times
  • Diaper changes
  • Meals and portion sizes
  • Activities and learning moments
  • Milestones and developmental progress
